The first step

Heat large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage prepare ten to twelve minutes until crumbled and browned, stirring from time to time. Remove sausage. Stir flour into 4 tablespoons drippings residing in skillet and prepare a couple of minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and prepare about a few minutes until thickened and bubbly. Add more milk if gravy appears too thick. Add sausage to gravy. Season with pepper and salt. Serve immediately over hot biscuits or taters.
